GeoGlobal Energy adds three to tech team

In Maryland, geothermal investment and development company GeoGlobal Energy LLC said it had added three respected geothermal professionals to its technical team. Bob Swanson joined the company as drilling manager, Jim Stimac as senior geologist, and Paula Blaydes as director of environmental permitting & governmental affairs. The three are to be based in GGE’s Santa Rosa, CA office. Swanson brings 20 years of experience in the geothermal and oil industry and joins GGE from Thermasource. Stimac also has 20 years of experience and comes to GGE from Chevron’s Geothermal Division. Blaydes, who joined the company in November 2009, has worked on geothermal projects throughout the U.S. and abroad, and has more than 30 years of experience in environmental permitting, project development, and legislative and governmental affairs.
