CanGEA sets investment seminar and reception

In Canada, the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association (CanGEA) will host a Canadian Geothermal Code Investment Seminar and Reception in Toronto on March 3, 2010. The event is to assist industry stakeholders with the integration and comprehension of the Canadian Geothermal Code for Public Reporting, which the industry group established to promote an industry standard for public resource and reserve disclosure in geothermal energy. Presentations will include Canadian Geothermal Code basics, including current regulatory status; How to harness the Code to make strong geothermal investment decisions; Using the code to determine geothermal value from a case-study approach; Code implications from the producer’s perspective; and Panel commentary on the financial benefits of Code implementation.
