Star Energy to build two new GT plants
In Indonesia, PT Star Energy said it will build two new geothermal power plants in Pangalengan in the regency of Bandung, West Java. The plants will have a total capacity of 190 MW. The plants will be the third and fourth units of PLTP Wayang Windu and are to be operational in 2014. The site currently has two plants with a capacity of 217 MW. The generated electricity will be sold to the state electricity company PLN and will supply the Java-Bali interconnection.
